We need to hear from you!

Community feedback is needed to develop a comprehensive web resource for individuals with disabilities and their families across Northern Virginia. This is an exciting and ground-breaking project and we want you to participate!

Thanks to a grant from Fairfax County, SeniorNavigator (www.seniornavigator.org), The Arc of Northern Virginia, and the Helen A. Kellar Institute for Human disAbilities of George Mason University (www.kihd.gmu.edu) are partnering to develop this resource.

In order to ensure that the website meets the needs of the disability community and is as user-friendly as possible, we are having eight community feedback sessions between November 6-10, 2007.

Why should you attend one or more sessions?

This is your chance to share your insights and experiences and make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Your feedback will determine what is included in disAbilityNavigator.org.

Who should attend?

Individuals with a disability, Family members, and Service providers and agency staff.

When, Where and How?

Please see one of the attached flyers for information on the eight sessions [PDF - 23KB] including the date, time and location [PDF - 25KB].

Space is limited and YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER for the sessions by visiting www.disAbilityNavigator.org. Registration instructions are provided on this website or you can call 1-866-393-0957 to register by phone.

We look forward to seeing you in November. Please pass this email and the flyers on to other folks that may want to participate. Thank you!!
